“If you want to enjoy a different kind of holiday experience, I can heartily recommend Andaluz Language Adventures!”
As someone who was last in any kind of education almost two decades ago, I found Lynne’s way of teaching me a language I’d previously never studied in any form informative, easy to understand and fun! She is a very thorough and approachable teacher who can explain large linguistic concepts very simply and succinctly, as well as covering some general history of the country and its culture.
The learning environment is in a beautiful location far from normal tourist destinations with many lovely walks to be had and some simply stunning mountain views! Not to mention the scenic town itself with a great Michelin star restaurant to enjoy at an unbelievable low price!

“Spanish lessons were fun, perfectly paced for our group. I’d do it again in a heartbeat!”
After an hour and a half's drive, but a million miles from the pubs and clubs of the Málaga coastal resorts, we arrived in Grazalema. A world of white-walled houses and narrow cobbled streets, each with a vista of the surrounding hills. Lynne's house is in perfect keeping, thick white walls, dark furniture, tile floors and splashed of colour from a growing collection of local ceramics.
Spanish lessons were fun, perfectly paced for our group. Lynne gently steered our pronunciation and grammar onto a proper Castilian footing and patiently grew our vocabulary.
In the afternoons we visited wineries, beautiful villages, plummeting gorges and enjoyed forest walks to stunning viewpoints. And lazed over coffee and cake in the village, wandered aimlessly round a few village shops and indulged ourselves in local cured meats and cheeses.
A lovely long weekend. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Did I mention Lynne's paella? Oh my...

“I had a fantastic time in Grazalema thanks to Lynne's hospitality and expertise.”
The house and bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The views in Grazalema were absolutely stunning. We learnt a lot of Spanish in two intensive lessons of two hours. We also enjoyed learning about the history of wine production in the area and trying the different local wines in a wine tasting experience in a local vineyard. Exploring beautiful Ronda and its breathtaking views was another highlight.
I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone who would like to experience authentic Spanish culture and learn the Spanish language in a relaxed, friendly environment.

“I can heartily recommend a long weekend of learning Spanish, eating delicious food and enjoying stunning sights with Lynne in the lovely Grazalema.”
Lynne is a gifted teacher and excels at making Spanish both fun and interesting to learn. The location - her spacious and cosy home, is in the heart of the town, which reveals impressive views of the mountains that surround it everywhere you turn.
Lynne has excellent local and cultural knowledge that adds greatly to the experience. We visited cave villages, enjoyed wine tastings, walked through gorges and the local food is a triumph (Grazalema has its own Michelin star restaurant which isn't to be missed).

“I am so grateful to have found Lynne!”
I highly recommend Lynne if you are looking to learn Spanish. She is so passionate about languages and is absolutely brilliant at teaching my daughter Spanish. Lynne provides a mixture of learning techniques to suit her students through games, books, reading, writing and conversation. She is professional, patient, calm, encouraging and fun! Above all I see the results in her success when I hear my daughter speaking Spanish! I have also had the privilege of joining in some of her Spanish conversation classes. Muchas gracias, Lynne!

“Lynne is a thoughtful and sensitive teacher.”
She is passionate about the Spanish language and this enthusiasm rubs off on her pupils whatever their age or ability. She has a great deal of experience teaching the Spanish language and wants to encourage her pupils to do their best. Lynne has a love of Spain and all things Spanish and this comes across in her teaching of the Spanish language. She helps her pupils to make links which aids their learning and develops memory.

“We would highly recommend Lynne Burnham as Spanish tutor (for your children).”
Lynne is passionate about teaching Spanish and this is evident in her enthusiastic teaching. Our son has minor learning difficulties and she is exceedingly patient with him, encouraging and motivating him and she gets the very best out of him. Our son looks forward to his weekly lessons with her which is really positive. The transition from face-to-face lessons to online lessons was seamless with the same amount of achievement obtained in both settings. Lynne has also tutored our daughter who was in the lowest grade for Spanish at school and now her school is very happy with the progress made and are surprised at how well she has done. Lynne is friendly, polite and has a very professional attitude.

“I don't think learning a language is easy, but it can be fun, honest!”
I don't think learning a language is easy but with a teacher that has a relaxed style, is thorough and knowledgeable, with a genuine love of Spain, the Spanish, and Spanish Culture, it can be fun, honest! I have been learning Spanish for over 15 years, and have been taught by Lynne for just the last 2, - had I joined with Lynne all those years ago I would have been very much more advanced and comfortable with the language.
